I've checked out two of the new songs from the Roxy set, and I have to say that I am really looking forward to the new album. Even with the crowd muddying the sound and only hearing like, half the music, they sounded great, particularly Death Before Disco. I so want to see MCR in concert, some day. I switch from writing to making icons. I just found a stash of pictures from The Roxy shows from whenever that was -- just last week, it feels like -- on tothetune (an icecreamheadache-type clearinghouse for MCR stuff). While in pursuit of the airdate and time of Fall Out Boy's Soundstage show on PBS, I noticed that they'd been tagged as being a pop-punk band. I suppose it's correct, but I tend to think of them as having more of a pop sound than punk.
